Multimedia Plus Announces New Financing and Expansion of Board

Ernest Pomerantz joins board of directors

Multimedia Plus, a New York based technology company and provider of award winning learning and communications for the world’s leading brands, announced today that it successfully closed a round of private financing with sophisticated individual investors.

“This new financing will allow us to accelerate our growth plans,” said David Harouche, president of Multimedia Plus. “We will use these funds to significantly expand our sales efforts to the retail industry as well as to begin exploring expansion to other industries.”

Mr. Harouche also announced that Ernest Pomerantz has joined the company’s board of directors. Ernie Pomerantz is Chairman of StoneWater Capital LLC and has more than 30 years experience in private equity and venture investing. He was a partner at MESA Partners and Warburg Pincus & Co. and Vice President of Kuhn Loeb & Co. Ernie is a director of a number of private companies.

He joins Andrea Weiss, Andrew Gaspar and co-founder Jodi Harouche on the company’s Board.
