Director of Interactive Production

We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time position as Director of Interactive Production to work in our New York offices.

The Director of Interactive Production leads a project from inception to completion, assuming responsibility for day-to-day management of the process, workflow management and delivery of complex projects for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will have digital agency or in-house experience and a working knowledge of the video production process as well as interactive software development. Responsibilities include project scoping and planning, leading the process, and ensuring that the highest quality projects are delivered on time and on budget. Passionate about digital learning and mobile development, the ideal candidate has a strong understanding of project management methodologies as well as familiarity with good design, web technologies and experience with programming and development teams. A strong multi-tasker that leads by example, the candidate brings a motivating and positive leadership presence to the team. Punctual, reliable, detail oriented and flexible the Director of Interactive Production has an understanding of the retail or fashion sector and thrives under pressure of tight deadlines while being good-natured with a sense of humor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 – 7+ years working at a digital agency, advertising agency, in-house agency or digitally focused marketing firm managing complex and cross-functional interactive projects
  • Minimum of 3 – 5+ years of leadership and/or client management experience
  • Experience in leading and managing projects, including touch screen, mobile and tablet interactives
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies, software development life cycles, video production and the delivery of solutions with creative and engineering components

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manages team operations and ensures that all goals and objectives are well understood by all members of the team
  • Facilitates multifunctional teamwork, including Account, Content Development, Production, Design, Interactive, and Post-Production contributing to the overall scope to ensure project and deliverables stay on track
